The red "X" marks location of The Camp Verde Weather Site.
The Verde Natural Resource Conservation District maintains The Camp Verde Weather Site at 285 East Highway 260 in Camp Verde, Arizona 86322. The site is located in the U.S. Forest Service Fire Management Center directly across Highway 260 from the Verde Ranger District Offices.

Here's how to find The Camp Verde Weather Site.

Head East out of Downtown Camp Verde on Highway 260. Cross the Verde River on the "White Bridge". Less than one-quarter mile past the bridge turn right onto Quarterhorse Lane. This is the very first right-hand turn after the bridge. Cross the right-of-way cattle guard and make an IMMEDIATE left-hand turn onto a gravel lane leading to the USFS Fire Management Complex.

The building which houses The Camp Verde Weather Site sits just inside the highway right-of-way fence. It is actually the first building on the right side of the highway after you have crossed the bridge (not counting the picnic ramadas).
