Make O' Map for the Verde River Basin
MOM (Make O' Map) V1.0 is an experimental interface between Arc/Info and Netscape, created by Damian Runge at the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation
NOTES:
- The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation is not to be held responsible for this program in any way, shape, or form.
- NETSCAPE 1.2 or better should be used with at least a resolution of 640 x 480 at 256 colors.
- The hooks are in place for annotation and color ramping but are not active(a future upgrade?).
- ARC/Info resides on the BOR Data General 6220, it will take a minute or so to produce the finished map so have patience.
- Nothing special has been done to the data sets used by MOM. These are the same ones used in our day to day GIS work.
- MOM is not meant to replace ArcView. It can be used to view Metadata or just allow access to certain data sets.
- The .gif file is created at 100 dpi, but the actual size is dependent on the resolution of the monitor being used.
- Whichever theme is chosen as Theme 1 sets the default mapextent for the map.
- Some browsers can not handle 127 colors in a pull down menu. Try 16 colors instead..
