From time to time questions arise concerning the Verde NRCD's tax exempt status. We have included two documents on this website which answer those questions.
The first, from the Arizona State Land Department, clarifies the NRCD's role as a political subdivision of the State of Arizona. The second, from the IRS itself, is a verification of tax-exempt 501(c)(3) status for The District's Education Center.
