Lithologic Description

Gravel, sand, silt, and clay: Includes streamwash and terrace deposits, thickness ranges from 0 to about 50 feet. Locally contains cinders and volcanic ash around Munds Park where thicknesses attain 400 feet.

Water-Bearing Characteristics

Where saturated, yields will generally be less than 50 gallons per minute, in localized areas may yield more, water levels in wells may be influenced by the stage of nearby streams.
