Lithologic Description

Primarily gravel, fine- to coarse-grained, some boulder, and cobble beds, conglomerate, sandstone, siltstone, bentonitic clay, marl, and limestone. Rock types depend on source area, Paleozoic, Tertiary, or Precambrian. Size of material depends on distance from source area. Moderately to well cemented.

Water-Bearing Characteristics

Generally above the water table.
